How Obama Feels About Christianity

President Obama constantly speaks out about his faith throughout his campaigns, and since his address renewal in June 2006. Numerous recent emails have falsely stated he is Muslim. He wants to set the record straight, though, and wants it to be known that he is not a Muslim. He has been vigorously active in laying stress upon the fact that his beliefs are of the Christian faith, even before the South Carolina primary. This is one of his quotes as to how he feels about Christianity: "I believe in the redemptive death and resurrection of Jesus Christ."

The nondenominational church at Camp David (Evergreen Chapel) is the main place of worship the Obama family plans to be attending, as reported by Time Magazine. No official statement from this has been made from the White House yet. It appears the Obama family is presently looking for a church home. They will choose one at the time that it best fits for the family. A number of factors, including political, personal, and avoidance of display, have led them to the decision of seeking a home church.

President Obama is being criticized by both Christians and Muslims for the way they claim he has treated them throughout his campaign. They say that Senator and Democratic Nominee for President Barak Obama was isolating religious groups in their appeal to religions who normally support Republican candidates. Christians and Muslims feel betrayed by his actions, and are not impressed or moved by the President's apologies.
