Christians and Their Faith

One's faith has always been the only thing that you could rely on. It was and still is the main thing that leads most people to do what they do. If you have no faith you have no hope or moral conscience.

Christians have hope in life after death as well as being a good role model and a good Samaritan. The Bible says that the Lord loves a cheerful giver. So if you do not give cheerfully you are not only displeasing God, but He is not going to honor your giving.

If you have to be told to give to your church, then you probably have not read your Bible. It is very clear that you are to take care of your Pastors and your own congregation. Some preachers are always asking for money- those are the ones that you should keep an eye on. Yes, you will find a few out there who are in it for the money, but they are mostly the organized churches. When you have a church that is totally dependent on its people, then you know it is not for the money. It is because the Pastor has had the calling of God and preaches from the Bible, not from his own thoughts and ideas. It is so important to believe that your church is practicing what it preaches. Because if you get the feeling that they are always preaching on giving, then you may start to wonder if their first priority is receiving.
